A Million in Montana
 Accomplished and Then Some

Charlotte Martin Foundation Wraps Up Major Granting Initiative

We have completed our year of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the foundation - recognizing our work and the legacy of Montana-born Charlotte Yeoman Martin.  We granted $1,273,136 in the state during 2007. From among the 156 requests received, we awarded forty-seven grants, ranging from $1500 to $125,000.  The projects are spread throughout the state and across all four categories of our funding.  Supporting Youth through Education, Culture and Athletics, and Protecting Wildlife and Habitat.  It has been an informative and inspiring experience for us to be involved with the people and the programs doing great work in Montana.

To continue spreading the word about the hard-working non-profits in the state, we have included the full list of organizations that sent us applications.  We encourage interested funders to call the contact numbers provided to find out more about the needs and opportunities in Montana.

We now return to our regular granting process - five states, four categories, no deadlines, no special initiatives. Learn more about our granting priorities. Foundations interested in exploring collaborative grantmaking in our areas of funding can contact us at info@charlottemartin.org
